This lovely little tea kettle was cleaned using our state of the art Ultrasonic Cleaning Method. Ultrasonic cleaners are used for cleaning of contents on water, fire and mold jobs. In this case, fire damage covered a large majority of the home. We were able to pack out the contents and bring them to our cleaning and storage facility to dedicate proper attention to each item while the home was being properly cleaned and restored.
The ultrasonic cleaning method provides a deeper and more thorough cleaning then hand cleaning. This allows us to provide better deodorization of items. It can also assist with cleaning items that can’t be cleaned by hand or are too delicate to be scrubbed.
Ultrasonic cleaning is the process of using high pressured waves with a cleaning solution to effectively clean an object This type of cleaning removes particles that are adhered to an item especially in hard to reach places. Metals, plastics, glass, rubber and ceramics can be used in the ultrasonic machine. Ultrasonic cleaning uses sound waves to remove dirt or particles from materials. There is a multi- step process that involves using compressed air and chemicals to remove the bulk of debris on the item. And then we place the item in our ultrasonic tank which creates tiny bubbles with sound waves. When those bubbles collide with the contents they collapse and suck the dirt, soot or debris off of the item. We then rinse the items with deionized water which removes the chemicals used for cleaning. And finally, we’re able to place the item in a drying compartment that dries it quickly and prevents any rust.
